Course Description (BIB1033): This course explores Matthew, Mark, and Luke—the Synoptic Gospels. It covers the background, purposes, and geography of the Gospels. Throughout this verse by verse approach we emphasize the context of Christ's teachings and miracles. The content is arranged by a principle-centered method, which enables students to apply, preach, and teach these great timeless, cross-cultural truths.
Our study on the life of Christ is chronological. We begin with the events of His birth and continue through His life, death, resurrection, and ascension to heaven. Throughout His life, we emphasize the context of His teachings and miracles. The content is arranged to help students apply the principles of this study to their own lives and to preach and teach these great truths to others.
